INTMAX Privacy Blockchain Testnet
Effective Date: 12 December 2024
Welcome to the INTMAX Privacy Blockchain Testnet (“Testnet”). By accessing or using the Testnet, you agree to comply with these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these terms, you may not use the Testnet.
1. Overview of the Testnet
1.1. The Testnet is a blockchain environment provided by Ryodan Systems AG (“INTMAX”) for experimental and educational purposes.
1.2. The Testnet operates on a non-monetary basis, and all tokens or assets used within the Testnet have no real-world value.
1.3. The Testnet will exclusively use Sepolia ETH as the primary currency for testing transactions. These test tokens are freely available through faucets and hold no monetary value.
1.4. The Testnet is subject to updates, interruptions, and potential resets as part of its development and testing.
2. Eligibility
2.1. By using the Testnet, you represent that you are at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
2.2. Use of the Testnet must comply with applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
3. Experimental Nature
3.1. The Testnet is a beta environment and may contain errors, bugs, or vulnerabilities.
3.2. INTMAX is not liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience caused by the use or malfunction of the Testnet, including but not limited to data loss, smart contract errors, or privacy breaches.
4. Use of Sepolia ETH
4.1. The Testnet exclusively uses Sepolia ETH as the test currency for all transactions and interactions.
4.2. Users are responsible for obtaining Sepolia ETH from publicly available faucets. INTMAX does not issue or sell Sepolia ETH.
4.3. Sepolia ETH holds no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for real-world assets or currencies.
5. Prohibited Activities
When using the Testnet, you agree NOT to:
5.1. Engage in any unlawful or fraudulent activity.
5.2. Use the Testnet to create, test, or deploy malicious software, such as viruses or exploits.
5.3. Attempt to hack, interfere with, or disrupt the Testnet’s operations or infrastructure.
5.4. Misrepresent your identity or impersonate any entity.
6. Privacy and Data Usage
6.1. The Testnet is a privacy-focused environment; however, INTMAX may collect limited technical, non-personal and non-sensitive data (e.g., logs, error reports) to improve the Testnet.
6.2. INTMAX does not guarantee anonymity or confidentiality for activities conducted on the Testnet.
Users should exercise caution and avoid sharing sensitive or personal information.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1. All software, code, and materials associated with the Testnet are the intellectual property of INTMAX or its licensors.
7.2. Users are permitted to use the Testnet for testing and experimentation but may not reproduce, modify, or distribute Testnet-related materials without prior written consent.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
8.1. The Testnet is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties, express or implied.
8.2. INTMAX disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1. INTMAX is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Testnet.
9.2. Users accept all risks associated with the Testnet, including potential loss of data, reputational harm, or financial implications.
10. Changes to Terms
10.1. INTMAX reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time.
10.2. Continued use of the Testnet after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
11.1. These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Switzerland.
11.2. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved through arbitration in accordance with Swiss Arbitration Centre (formerly known as the Swiss Chambers’ Arbitration Institution) under the Swiss Rules of International Arbitration.
12. Termination
12.1. INTMAX may suspend or terminate access to the Testnet at its discretion, without prior notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms of Use.
